Goulburn Bradley St Sewer Pumping Station Upgrade
Project Description
PCI were sub-contracted by the contractor, Goulburn Mulwaree Council, to complete all the Civils (earthworks, pipelines, and pump installations). It was classed as mechanical install as there were two sites and most of the cost was due to the mechanical installation processes.
Goulburn Mulwaree Council (GMC) intended to upgrade and commission the Bradley St Sewer Pumping Station (SPS) at Goulburn:
The existing dry well pumps were decommissioned, and replaced with submersible sewage pumps located one within each wet well.
The rising main for each station was two existing pipelines, each connected to a dedicated discharge manhole. The upgrades required a connection to the existing mains. Electrical connections and switchboards required upgrading to suit the proposed pumping station.
